Unlocking the Rows – A writing workshop for 13-18 year olds

If you’re aged between 13 and 18 and are interested in writing, then this 90-minute creative, fun session is for you. It doesn’t matter what style of writing you’re into – prose, poetry, dialogue, whatever – you don’t need any experience, just an interest in getting your ideas down on paper. The session, led by prize-winning poet and short story writer, Kevin Dyer will be a great, fun, no-pressure, opportunity to write. Just bring along your imagination, and see what happens.

Kevin Dyer is Associate Writer at Theatre Porto, in Ellesmere Port, Lead Artist at Storm in the North, and Associate Artist at Farnham Maltings. He won this year’s Writers’ Guild of Great Britain ‘Best Play Award’, and has twice won The Guild’s ‘Olwen Wymark Award’ for supporting other writers.

Kevin creates spaces where people feel safe and can share ideas through writing.

Children under 18 years old will be asked for parent/guardian permission to attend.
